{JEMS} more than jewelry message #1

The Lord placed this idea on my heart. I cannot wait to grow to know you all more through this! Although Remind isn’t set up as a group message typically is, if you have the app on your phone you can send me messages. I would LOVE to hear your feedback.

Tell me your story. Tell me your heart. Tell me your why. I may not be able to do anything but pray for you, but that I CAN do!

A few housekeeping things:

Remind is an incredible app, but I am limited to 140 characters so unless I can fit my message into that or sum it up with a picture as an attachment, I will be sending the link to my blog for the full message.

I have been thinking through the upcoming messages and wanted to share with you some of the exciting topics that will be covered!

I would LOVE suggestions. Here is what I have planned thus far:

Combo Crazy (utilizing the June special), Leading with Love, Sponsor Savvy, You Might be a Jewelry Lady If, Rally in Review, Retail 101, Social Butterfly (utilizing social media for your business), Salsa and Sparkles, Book it! (booking activity),Calendar Control, Sponsor: Must or Bust? (sponsoring activity), Dressing like the Jewelry Lady, Keeping it Personal, Book it: outside of shows!, Testimony Tuesday, How Full is Your Bucket?, Dream B-I-G, Consistency is Key

Today’s message won’t enlighten you on how to book shows. It won’t help you with sponsoring. But what I pray that it will do is encourage your heart in some way.

{JEMS} more than jewelry message #1: He Knows My Name

Seriously. I’ve seriously got to get my windows tinted.

Not because it will help with the scorching south Georgia heat, although it definitely would.

Not because it would make my first big girl financed-all-on-my-own car look better, although it would accomplish that, too.

The real reason? It would create a safe zone of no-strange-looks when I decide to have a car concert. You know exactly what I am talking about. When you’re driving along, perhaps to a show, and a song comes on that just speaks to your soul. So you sing it from your gut. I’m talking gasping for air because you’re singing with all you got. I caught myself having one of those the other day. I had a hair brush as my microphone and all. The lady next to me at the red light stared in amusement.

I quickly put the hairbrush down and pretended to be normal. As I continued to drive, though, it hit me. How often does something speak to us in a big way, but since it might make us look funny we keep it to ourselves? We tint those windows. We save pictures of quotes from Pinterest on our phones, only to never share them.

I wanted to turn around and find that lady and explain just why I was singing like that. The song was “He Knows My Name” by Francesca Battistelli. If you know it, you’re probably shaking your head in agreement that it was totally a car concert worthy song. If you are not familiar, look it up, listen to it, and…you’re welcome.

The song goes:

Spent today in a conversation
In the mirror face to face with
Somebody less than perfect
I wouldn’t choose me first if
I was looking for a champion
In fact I’d understand if
You picked everyone before me
But that’s just not my story

True to who You are
You saw my heart
And made something out of nothing, so

I don’t need my name in lights
I’m famous in my Father’s eyes
Make no mistake
He knows my name
I’m not living for applause
I’m already so adored
It’s all His stage
He knows my name
He knows my name

I’m not meant to just stay quiet
I’m meant to be a lion
I’ll roar beyond a song
With every moment that I’ve got

He calls me chosen
Free, forgiven
Wanted, child of the King
His forever
Held and treasured
I am loved

I don’t need my name in lights
I’m famous in my Father’s eyes

So no matter where you are in life or in Premier, trust that He knows you. He cares for you. You are chosen. You’re not just a mom. Not just a jeweler number. Not just a wife. Not just a sister. You are so much more. You are the daughter of the King.

He knows your name.

I served the precious people of India for two weeks in July 2014, and you will see me reference that a lot, because it is totally where my heart is (and the reason I joined Premier). I remember seeing this precious girl in one of the villages. I looked at her tiny feet, spotted with rat bites. I looked at her hands, much too worn for her age. I looked at her eyes, so dark and piercing. Thankfully, this precious girl was a part of one of the few places in the entire nation of India who follow Christ. I was able to look at her and remind her, “This isn’t home, baby girl. We get Jesus. We get eternity with the King.”

And that Jesus—He knows her name.

He knows your name. The Maker of the heavens and the earth knows your name.

He cares about you. He wants to see you live a life in which things are done for His glory and for your good. The more you have, the more you have to give. The more chances you have to bless others and make Him known. “More” may look different in each of our lives. Maybe it’s more jewelry shows, more jewelers in our downline, more income for our family, more encouragement. But with Premier—you will get more. You will find more true friends than you could’ve ever imagined when you joined.

He cares about the details of your life.

“The Lord is in the details of our lives. He knows us. He is mindful of us. He hears our prayers. He wants to bless us. He loves us. He truly loves us!”

I think about the precious people at Premier manufacturing. I think about the time, talent, and patience it takes to place individual stones in some of our necklaces. Check out our Pattern Play necklace. They care about the detail. It is evident.

Now imagine how much more the Lord, who created you in His image, cares about the details of your life. No, we should not make Him out to be a genie. But He does hear our desires. Is it ok to pray for more bookings? You better believe it. Keep the big picture in mind.

Premier gives to missions around the world.

We get to bless our hostesses and customers with a night of fun and laughter. Some of them need it more than we will ever know.

We get to bless our hostess with SO much free jewelry.

We get to bring in money that can be used in so many God-glorifying ways.

We get to share hope and enrich lives.

If it means earning Get in the Game MVP or 100 Homeshow Club along the way—even better!

Never, ever think it is wrong to ask the Lord, who cares so deeply about you, to bless your business. In fact, apart from the Lord’s blessing, it would not work.

So take heart, sweet lady. You’re in Premier for a reason. God has a purpose for you and for your business. Yes, there will be trials.

Raise your hand if you have ever had three cancellations in a week. I’m over here raising both hands. But it’s worth it. You’re worth it. Christ is worthy. He knows your name and He will bless your “little jewelry business” if you let Him.

This is promising to not make every message this long and apologizing in advance for likely breaking that promise.

With Jesus in my heart and sparkle in my soul,

Jenna Elise

  1. As I read your message, tears streamed down my face because I totally agree with every word you say. I THANK GOD FOR knowing my name and for loving me and caring about me. You have reminded me of this. I am honored to be here and be a part of what you are doing. May our Father in Heaven bless you now and always and May you continue to grow in The Lord. Sincerely, your sister in Christ, Lenora Walton.
